Friends

This is Coach Jo and my teammate Pese. Back home high school coaches and friends turn into family. Pese and Coach were two people I knew I could count on. Pese plays in college now as well, Coach still reaches out and checks on me to this day.

This is Kassidy, we were taking my senior photos. She helped through a lot and I helped her through a lot. She was there when my aunt died days before graduation, she was my extra family at my senior night because I had my mom, dad, and sister while everyone else had their entire extended family. Kassidy and her family were there to be my extended family and I love them all dearly. She is a swimmer in college.

This is my family, my mom and dad are both veterans and my sister is a gymnast. My dad was in the military when the military PCSed my family to Alaska and my mom had been out of the military for about five years. When we moved I didn't feel anything until high school when I was graduating, senior night, when I got into NHS, when I signed to play college softball. I missed out on the big family gatherings and I felt left out. But my mom, dad, and sister never failed to be there for me. I will always try my hardest to do the same for my sister.

These people right here are my high school teammates. They to this day will do anything for me. These people gave it their all on the field, we had five girls on the field that knew how to play. The rest didn't but they worked hard in practice, always asked for more reps, always asked to do practice with just the seniors that knew how to play, and when they stepped on that field it was "show up to show out". I still talk to so many of these girls.

These are my friends and boyfriend. Jaron, Dawson, Jayzee, Bailey, Kailey, and S. We spent all summer working on trucks and driving around town, they also would sit on a bucket for me and throw me some under toss when my dad couldn't.

Living Life Outside

Here in these two pictures we are at Lake Louise, Alaska. In the picture on the right I have a Laker on the line. In the picture on the left we are using fish finder to see how deep the water is, because that will affect whether there is fish in that hole or not.

Here is my sister and I, we are kayaking in Otter Lake, Alaska just enjoying the fresh air and quality time spent together.
Here is my sister and I as well, we are hiking Mt.Baldy in Eagle River, Alaska. We hiked it during quarantine just getting out of the house and trying to stay in shape.

This my friend Kassidy and I, we are sledding in her backyard and we were just having fun on winter break and we were also sending in photos of the activities we did throughout winter break for the yearbook.

Scenery and Wildlife

This is Lake Louise, Alaska during the summer. One of the most peaceful places I have ever been to. When I come here I fish for Lakers all day and sit around the campfire all night.
This is off the Turnagain Arm Highway. I sat here on a fallen tree and just looked around and realizing what a beautiful place I live in and realizing how blessed I am to live in Alaska.
This is Kenai, Alaska truly one of my favorite places. We hiked around 7 miles to get here and we watched the salmon jump through the waterfall and the bears feed off the salmon. It was such a cool experience.

This is Petersburg, Alaska. There is no cell service and hardly any people around. It is very quiet and peaceful. In the right corner behind the clouds is Mt.Denali, she is always behind clouds because the mountain is so tall. To get here my dad, sister, and I rode the four-wheelers we were scouting for moose season.
This is also off the Turnagain Arm Highway, I spend a lot of time over here. This calf was born seconds before this picture was taken. The mom is feeding off the grass and the baby was prancing around in the tall grass as the sun was setting, it was a cool experience.

This is East Anchorage, Alaska. Where the Northern Lights are dancing above my home. The Northern Lights are believed to be our ancestors dancing above. They only come out during the winter months and most of the time where I live it is just the green colors. My goal is to go to Fairbanks in December to see the purple colors.

This Lake Louise, Alaska in the fall. During this time the weather is starting to get cold, Lake Louise gets to about -50 degrees. The coldest I have felt there is -32 degrees. When it is that cold it is so beautiful. The tree limbs are frozen and the sky is clear blue and the snow sparkles.

Family Adventures

We are in Kenai, Alaska watching Grizzly Bears feed off of the salmon stream. This day we spent all day as a family watching the bears.

This was in the midst of quarantine, we hiked up Flat Top Mountain. We did this to spend time together, to get out of the house, and to try and stay in shape for sports during the summer.

This is in Soldotna, Alaska. We went fishing on Fathers Day and we all limited out Silver Salmon. We spent all day together and afterwards we had a barbeque.

This is also McHugh Creek, we went to get out of the house and to spend time together as a family.

This is also McHugh Creek during quarantine just the other side of the mountain on a different day. We took the dogs this time to get them out of the house and some fresh air.

This is also during quarantine a mountain near McHugh Creek. We came back because there are three trails and we took the last trail this day. We sat down and looked for Beluga whales and embracing the beautiful scenery.
